Techless: DC Metro

The metro is fast, cheap and void of the tech that could make it a real pleasure to use.

The first thing they need are wi-fi hot spots. Every airport has them, most hotels do and lets not forget Mc Donald's. If Mc Donald's can have wi-fi, there is no reason the nations capital can not. If its a cost thing charge for it. Tourist and daily riders alike would be willing to pay for the convince on connectivity.

2nd thing needed is live advertisement. By that I mean LCD, LED or OLED screens on the trains as well as well as the stops. They can be paid by the companies playing the ads. It would be like radio in traffic before the advent of XM & MP3's. People would have no choice but to pay attention. That would be near 100% penetration. That is an an advertisers dream.

3rd thing is a want more than a need. When you think about it, it has nothing to do with technology other than we have the technology to do it. I want a Metro stop in Georgetown.

A Night in Brooklyn: Review of Brooklyn's Finest

Brooklyn's Finest is 140mins of Good cop vs. Bad cop but most of the fight is in the mind of the cops and not on the streets. There is little action in this movie. That is not to say that there is no action. I just little. At times I felt I was watching an episode of Law & Order: SVU (aka the best one) There just did not seem to be enough depth. Tango (Don Cheadle) was the best one but due to the cliché of an undercover cop trying to make the grade to get out. It rings very hollow. With Mr. Snipes there I kept thinking Niño every time I saw him. That is not a knock at him at all. Mr. Snipes did a great job with what he had to work with. But what he had to work with was not much.

Also almost every bit actor from the Wire was in this movie. I count at least six before I gave it up due to the lunacy of it. Over all this movie is a Netflix or a Red Box. Wait for Takers or New Jack City 2.

So after some much heated debate. I got what was coming to me. What was that you ask? I am not able to tell you at this point. Than why write this post in the first place? Why not?
