Games: Big Business

Games use to be something kids did but most people in the 30's play games because that age group grew up with Nintendo, Sega and Sony. Now games have grown with the age group while picking up younger children. Now that games are on the radar of huge companies expect to see more and more blockbusters. The only thing though there is still a stigmatism with games. Which is what is keeping from having a blockbuster every year just like people look to the summer for movies. There is no feeling like that with games.

Randomly there is a Halo, Call of Duty and Grand Theft Auto other than those three games; no others have come up regally. With better games and record breakers like this year's Call of Duty it may spur on a trend. Call of Duty broke every entertainment record for a single day period. That includes movies, games and music.
